Volga Blue – A Chameleon With Style
Volga Blue Granite is one of the most-searched terms on our site, and for good reason.
This granite is gorgeous – large flecks of blue, silver, charcoal and black that change with the angle of the light. It is one of those that is hard to get tired of – it goes with an astonishing array of paint and cabinet colors and styles.
We had one, just one, small piece left from when Lauren (the owner) did her own kitchen using Volga Blue. She paired it with black and stainless steel cabinets, and bamboo flooring. The look is very clean and inviting.
A One-of-a-Kind Granite Table
We cut up the leftover piece into a show-stopping round table top that is 23-inches across. This is the right size for a large end table or a smallish bistro table, or for that corner in the entry/hallway/landing that you don’t know what to do with.
Just pop it onto a table base from Pier One, IKEA, Target or any of a number of higher-end furniture stores. The only limit is your own imagination. Yes, I just wrote that!
You can even put this under a piece of glass on a fancy urn-type base and use it in a grand entry for the table that holds a big spray of flowers.
This original table top in Volga Blue Granite, the ONLY one we’ve made in 5 years in this material, can be yours for $100. Cash and Carry. Come and get it!
Oh – that pink spot is a reflection of Alison – the photographer – because the polished surface of this dark granite is so marvelously reflective. The actual table does NOT have pink in it!
