Remodeling Your Round Rock Texas Home?
Did you know you can have nicer granite vanity tops for less than you might imagine?
We have had the honor of working with a Round Rock homeowner to replace every bathroom vanity top (and kitchen counters, and gameroom counters, and more!) in an older home that she has been remodeling for her large family.
By carefully re-purposing cabinets from the kitchen to other places in the home, and then selecting granite remnants from our shop off North Lamar in Austin, this homeowner managed to keep tight control of her budget and still get knock-out bathroom vanities.
When I checked on the installation at the home this afternoon, I dragged along my big camera and snapped just a few photos to share. The electrical is incomplete, so most of the rooms were too dark for photography. These two photos should give you an idea of how you can combine older cabinets with fresh paint and granite remnants for a thoroughly updated look in an older home.
The darker counter is a granite called Fiorito, and looks marvelous with the dark brown paint on the cabinet. The lighter vanity counter is Colonial Gold granite paired with a pale ivory cabinet paint.
Both of these counters have a flat-polish edge and rectangular undermount sinks.
