Many local Austin granite companies don’t actually cut or install the granite themselves. They farm this labor-intensive work out to a granite fabricator, or a revolving group of fabricators, depending on their order volume. Sometimes the granite is cut by one company and installed by another. Sometimes the work isn’t even done by a company – it’s done by an individual that may or may not have a business license and may or may not have any type of insurance. Sometimes this works just fine.
Sometimes it doesn’t.

We handle the entire process in-house and do not sub out our installations to other companies or individuals. This allows us to maintain tight control of the quality of our work, and to avoid property damage to clients’ homes. Installing granite can be a messy job!
We do our own work and still maintain prices that are among the best in the business. Be aware that just because another company says they can do your job cheaper doesn’t mean they are using the same quality of material, or that your edges and seams will be as professionally made.
Is it worth saving $50 or $100 if your walls get dinged up and you have to pay a drywall company $200 to come and fix the damage because that guy with the granite sign out on North Lamar seems to have disappeared since your kitchen was installed?

Services We Provide
We will work with you from the beginning of the project to the end. This includes:
- Discussing granite quality, edges, time lines and pricing thoroughly, so that you know exactly what you’re getting for the granite for your home.
- Visiting local granite yards to select your slab with you, if you want us to. We also have an extensive selection of granite remnants so you can get your small granite counter for a bathroom or laundry room without having to buy an entire slab!
- Careful templating of your kitchen, bathroom or other granite project to make sure your cut pieces fit. Most walls are not even along the back of kitchen or bathroom counters, and we’ll make sure your granite fits the way it should.
- Careful layout of your counters on your slabs, to minimize seams.
- Careful installation, to avoid damage to your home during the installation process.
- Cutting of all possible edges at our shop so that you don’t end up with a home full of granite dust. Some holes will need to be cut on-site, but you certainly won’t find us cutting your slabs in your driveway, which you may have seen elsewhere!
